πŸ“ŒAmazing Mesa Teachers πŸ“Œ

EmpowerED Consulting will work with Mesa Elementary Mandarin dual immersion teachers in person for six sessions on the following Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Teachers will have from 10:30 to 11:30 AM as independent or collaborative work time. The work time should be used toward adapting learned strategies from the session to their classes and if time permits the use of a common translation of the strategies across grade levels for consistency.

The goal of these sessions is to help all immersion teachers have a deeper understanding of Common Core State Standards with a focus on the Language Arts Standards and the adaptations necessary for Mandarin and the integration of CA World Languages Standards and Framework in the lessons. The use of CA World Language Standards and Framework, ideas from The EduProtocol Field Guide Book 1 and Book 2, and Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education (3rd Edition) will be embedded into these practices.

Scroll down to the topics and direction we will be covering in each. Every resource presented will be on this page for you!
